About Me

Hey there !

I am a recent graduate from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, India, having an Integrated MSc. in Physics and B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Presently, I am working as a Research Assistant at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

My primary research focuses on theoretical physics of the early universe, especially in extreme cosmic environments and exotic objects like black holes. I am interested to know how these conditions influence the present-day universe and explore whether observational signatures from them can offer deeper insights into the fundamental laws of physics. My secondary research interests span a wide range of areas. Presently I am quite keen on exploring topics at the intersection of physics and biology, such as biophysics and astrobiology.

Apart from research, I take a lot of interest in the world of innovative startups and businesses. Our team “Solar Efficient” was the winner in an international entrepreneurship contest at Germany.

When I am not researching or casually learning new physics, I like to read popular non fictional books in science and philosophy, or popular mystery books in the fictional category. I sometimes like to write (the main motivation behind this blog) and once in a while I also photograph nature.

Last but not the least, I would never say no to watching a good movie or playing a game of football !
